Any student accepted for admission or currently enrolled at Vatterott College may apply for financial aid.  Upon completion of all necessary forms, the Financial Aid Office will determine the types and amounts of Financial Aid for which you may qualify and assist you in processing the application.

Financial aid is available to all who qualify.  However, all students, regardless of payment options or funding sources, are ultimately responsible for payment of their tuition, fees, books, uniforms, tools and taxes and any other costs associated with their education.  If you receive a Federal Student Loan, you will be committed to repaying all or a portion of that loan regardless of whether you complete your education or go to work.

The Federal Pell Grant Program (FPELL) - The Federal Pell Grant Program provides grants to students who do not have a Bachelor’s degree.  The amount of the grant is dependent upon the financial condition of the student, their spouse or their parent(s) if dependent and the student’s enrollment status.  Amounts of the award may vary from year to year.

The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant Program (FSEOG) - The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant Program (FSEOG) is awarded from a pool of very limited funds provided by the Federal government each year that provides assistance to extremely financially needy students.

The Federal Stafford Student Loan Program (FFELP) - The Federal Stafford Student Loan enables one to borrow directly from a bank, credit union, savings and loan association, or directly from the U.S. Department of Education. The loan is insured by the Federal Government. Repayment is a minimum of $50.00 per month, starting six months after graduation. The interest on these loans is below market rate, and determined by the Federal Government. There are both subsidized and unsubsidized loans. The government pays the interest on subsidized loans while the student is in school.

The Federal Parent Loan for Undergraduate Study (FPLUS) Loan Program - The Federal Parent Loan for Undergraduate Study (FPLUS) Loan Program Federal PLUS loans are for parents who want to borrow to help pay for their dependent children’s education.  PLUS loans provide the funds for educational expenses and are made by a lender such as a participating bank, credit union, or savings and loan association.  Whereas, the bank does evaluate the parent’s credit, the evaluation is more limited than a normal commercial loan.

Parents can click on the following link to do a pre-application to try the evaluation and see if their application would be approved. Parent PLUS

Veteran’s Education Benefits - Veterans Educational Benefits through the Veteran’s Administration may pay monthly educational allowances to qualified veterans or dependents of veterans to help defray the tuition and other costs.  For further information, contact the Veteran’s Administration or the Admissions Office at Vatterott College.  Not all training programs are approved by the Veteran’s Administration for Veteran’s Benefits.  Check with the Financial Aid Office at your campus.  PLEASE NOTE:  THE STUDENT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYMENT OF THEIR TUITION, NOT THE VETERAN’S ADMINISTRATION.
